100-Day Build & Launch Plan

Quiet setup → 14-week build → channel + livestream launch · Jul 1 → Oct 14

6V geodesic dome Metal conduit frame Setup: by Jun 30 Build phase: Jul–Sep Launch: Oct 14 · birthday ~15 hrs/week build

📅 Day-by-day version: this is the week-level plan. For the same 100 days broken into individual dated days (with the nightly livestream, filming days and prototype tests mapped out), see the 100-Day Daily Schedule. The 14 weekly build-video scripts are at scripts.html; see also the dashboard, the detailed budget and the permits/insurance/safety checklist.

Build windows: Saturday AM (~7–2) and all day Sunday are the heavy physical blocks; days off are bonus build time. Weeknights are light only (ingest, edit, prep). Each build week below lists 10 targets — build tasks plus the content/footage goals from your weekly schedule.

Strategy: create from Jul 1 but publish nothing — film everything, build a backlog, and launch the channel + 24/7 livestream all at once on Oct 14. Week 0 (setup) and the Launch Track + cross-cutting tracks at the end of this plan are the non-build layer pulled in from the command center.

Week 0

Pre-Launch Setup · by Jun 30

Set everything up quietly before Day 1, then stop polishing and go build. Accounts secured but dormant, gear tested, a folder system ready to swallow 100 days of footage. Don't overbuild — a clean minimal landing page is enough.

Week 1

Foundation / Ground

Clear, level and set the datum. Mark the full dome footprint and base ring — a 6V has many base vertices, so mark and anchor every one now. Compact the ground and set demountable footing/anchor points (screw piles / ground screws / skids — no permanent slab, so the whole dome can be unbolted and relocated), and run any conduit or drainage sleeves before anything goes on top.

Weeks 2–4

Dome Frame

The biggest job, given three weeks. Week 2 — Fabrication: cut, label and flatten/drill every strut by colour-coded length. Week 3 — Lower frame: raise the base rows and lock the lower hubs. Week 4 — Upper frame & apex: close out the upper rings and fully brace.

Week 5

Intake

Build and position the air-intake structure/ducting for prevailing flow. Set the inlet that will feed the water-2-air system later.

Week 6

Downpipe Frame

Build the support frame that carries the downpipe run. Get it plumb and braced — everything downstream hangs off this, so don't rush the bracing.

Week 7

Downpipe

Install the downpipe(s) onto the frame. Set falls/gradient and joints, and run the collection point into the pond location.

Week 8

Water-2-Air

The core Atmosfarm rig: the condensation / heat-exchange element tying intake → downpipe → pond together. This is the heart of the build — film it well.

Week 9

Filtration System

Build the mechanical + bio filtration before the pond goes live, so the water has somewhere clean to circulate from day one. Leak-test the rig and confirm the bio-filter seeded back in Week 6 is cycling.

Week 10

Pond & Aquaponics

Combined, and done while the dome is still open for full access. The pond is a portable tank (above-ground poly tank / IBC totes on a level base — no digging, so it drains and lifts out for the move). Set it up, then plumb the tank → filter → grow-beds loop, fit the pump and run the first full water test of the whole circuit.

Week 11

Cover

Skin the dome. With a 6V that's many small triangles — pre-cut and number every panel, then work in rings from the bottom up. Seal seams and leave the entrance gap.

Week 12

Entrance

Frame and hang the door / airlock. Weather-seal the threshold so it doesn't break the dome's airflow envelope.

Week 13

Garden Beds

Build, position and plant out the beds, tying them into the aquaponics loop run in Week 10. Run any remaining irrigation and get things growing.

Week 14

Exhaust & Landscaping

The final week, combined. Build the exhaust to complete the air loop (intake → water-2-air → exhaust) and test the full draw. Then final grading, paths, planting and tidy-up, and shoot the "100 Days" wrap before launch.

The Launch Track

Edit & launch — runs alongside the final build weeks

The build is only half of it. While the frame finishes (roughly Sep→Oct), the stockpiled footage has to become a publishable backlog, the rig has to be launch-ready, and everything goes live in one shot on Oct 14.

September

Edit the Launch Package

Turn ~3 months of stockpiled footage into a ready-to-publish backlog. Cut the flagship film and Episode 1 first — they carry launch day. Keep rough-assembling as you film so this isn't a wall at the end.

Oct 1–13

Final Push — rig & run sheet

Frame fully up and tidied for launch shots. Get the 24/7 livestream working off-grid and the launch slate scheduled, so Oct 14 is just pressing go. Daylight saving opens weeknights for this push.

Oct 14

Launch Day · Birthday 🎉

The whole thing goes live at once: the backlog, the premiere, the 24/7 stream and the announcement — at the birthday party. The goal was never “finish the final Atmosfarm,” it's to start the engine.

Cross-cutting tracks

Things that run the whole 100 days (and beyond)

These don't sit in a single week — they tick along in the background and need a little time carved out each week (Thursday admin / weeknights).

Track A

Social platforms & community

Work the 30-point startup checklist for each platform during Week 0 setup, then hold a light weekly rhythm. Stay quiet on public posting until launch — set the foundations now so day-one isn't a scramble.

Track B

Monetisation & business

Revenue and the bigger Atmosfarm business case develop in parallel. Decide the early money questions now so the shelf and funding paths are ready to switch on once the audience exists.
